The actor who had over three million followers on TikTok too spoke about the ban on the app. He said that he saw it coming as fans questioned him why he was still creating videos despite it being a Chinese app.
The actor who is very active on Twitter and is never scared to express his views wrote, “I support the ban on Chinese apps. TikTok included. But also TikTok was a very large community of content creators. Their videos were easy to make fun of, and we did, they’re not slick and fancy, but they’re still creators. Shout out to them and hope you find a new home soon.”
Model and actress Malaika Arora who was elated with the news of the ban on TikTok, took to her Instagram and wrote, “Best news I have heard in lockdown… finally we will not be subjected to people’s ridiculous videos.”
